Aizawl District is one of the 11 Districts of Mizoram State, India.The District Administrative headquarter is at Aizawl. It is the biggest district in State by population. It has a total area of 3577 sq. km and is the second Largest District in the state by area. It is the 2nd highest District in the Country by literacy rate with literacy Rate of 97.89%. Aizawl District is divided into 4 Blocks, 69 Panchayats and 1 Municipality.
